My favorite place to visit on a summer day in the city is the brand new Domino Park. Domino Park is a 6-acre public park in Brooklyn, New York City. It spans a quarter mile along the East River near the Williamsburg Bridge, at the site of the landmarked former Domino Sugar Refinery.
Iceland: What to do and see
I have a large bucket list of all the countries and cities in the world I want to travel to and keep marking them off every year. This past year, I knew I had to travel to Iceland and found the perfect flights from NYC to Reykjavik in September. I researched and found that September is one of the best times to visit as it isn’t extremely freezing but you can still see the northern lights. Follow along for my list of what to do, see, and experience in Iceland on a quick 72 hour trip (trust me, that is enough time to do and see it all).
Stripes in Tribeca
With Spring right around the corner, I thought I would do a little high-low dressing in a fun and colorful way. With Givenchy glasses & bag, Zara dress, and Nicole Benisti jacket, the look was complete.
Dog Days
When you have nothing to wear, just throw on a fun outfit, add some wild accessories and you are good to go. I had the best afternoon with my friends (and some pups) testing out some new chic pins by Mignonne Gavigan. I usually stick to black, white and denim clothing so the pins add a perfect pop to my outfits.

Frick Young Fellows Ball 2018
One of the most coveted events of the season is always the Frick Young Fellows Ball where the social (under 35) set gather for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and dancing. It has become tradition for me to wear Oscar de la Renta to the ball, and this year was no exception. I tend to wear neutral colors on a daily basis and a little color in the summer, but generally choose bright ball gowns for the Frick as a break from my daily routine. This year I decided to wear black- my go to color, and have a little more fun with my accessories. I wore my favorite diamonds from Azlee, and chose to top off the look with a tiara from Mignonne Gavigan. My favorite looks of the night can be found at the Town & Country Magazine website here.
The DogPound with P.E. Nation
It's been a minute since I've been on here but there is no time like the present to get back into the swing of things. I've been fully absorbed with my work at Town & Country Magazine but i'm back into my blogging as well. I'm excited to share the exciting things I've been up to since my hiatus. One of my favorite parts of the past year has been working with new and exciting brands like P.E Nation, a modern and sporty active wear brand based in Australia. I was thrilled to workout at The Dogpound with P.E Nation for a 7 AM workout full of boxing and cardio.

The Frick Collection's 2015 Young Fellows Ball
The Frick ball's theme this year was a "a night at the spanish court" and it was everything I could have hoped for; the sultry gowns, the perfect champagne, and my favorite artwork all in one place. The T&C girls (including myself) wore Carolina Herrera perfection and it couldn't have been a better evening. Check out all the Town & Country magazine gossip from the night here.
New York Fashion Week Diary Fall 2015- Part 2
New York Fashion Week Diary Fall 2015- Part 1
NYFW is always an exhilarating experience chock full of beautiful clothing, people, and sets, but it is also simply exhausting. Running from Lincoln Center, to 1 World Trade Center made for extremely long days. I am fortunate enough to get to experience these shows first hand, and I wouldn't have the crazy week anyother way, but I have to admit the freezing weather didn't help. To brave the storm (literally) I chose to layer my outfits with neutral pieces and pops of color to add an edge to my usual monochromatic look. At the first few days of the shows I had the realization that I NEED some flares, and the 70's are back in a big way. While I usually stick to more modern looks, my inner Colorado boho will be making an appearance come Fall 2015.
Winter's Tale
Working straight for a month left me with little time to update, but I can't complain since we did some amazing shoots. Once back home in Aspen, I was able to relax and focus before the new year. Winter white is a staple for me, and the crisp white J Brand jeans were just the ticket. I couldn't wait to wear my new Taylor and Tessier necklace, and it gave the perfect sparkle to my neutral outfit. While I only wear color in the summer, I could't resist the bright purple of my new Balenciaga bag, which helps add a pop to my neutral outfits. My fashion resolution this year is to wear more color, and take more fashion risks. Cheers!
Azlee SS15
Modern, sleek, and timeless are just a few words that describe Baylee Zwart's beautiful new fine jewelry collection for Spring/Summer 2015. Not only are her jewels drool-worthy, but each piece sold gives a portion of the proceeds to ocean related causes (shopping and giving back, whats not to like). I am honored to have been able to consult on her new line and look book, and I cannot be more proud of the pieces Baylee created. Check out the sneak peek below, with more amazing new pieces coming soon.
White Light
Working at a magazine is non-stop, everyday, so for NYFW I had to keep it comfortable yet fashoin forward. While dressing for my Saturday shows (starting with Tibi) I wanted to be sleek yet casual. I love an interesting hem, and the perfect summer-white top kept the look dressed up enough to wear my favorite denim shorts underneath. Alexander Wang can seriously do no wrong, and my classic bucket bag literally goes with everything. To finish the look I needed something easy I could run around in, and the nude sandal was the perfect balance to the look with a low heel and nude color.

Play On Print
As I was organizing my closet, I started noticing the color red popping up over and over again in my wardrobe, from the straps of my Loubs to the print on my dress (seen below). While I don't consciously gravitate to the bright color, it slowly snuck into my life one accessory at a time. This summer I wanted to experiement more with prints and color through more unique silhouettes and styles than I would typically wear. I mean, I'm only going to be able to wear cut-outs and short skirts for so long, so I might as well "carpe everyday".
Black is the new black
One of my favorite pieces I have designed to date is my black fox/rabbit fur jacket. I made it for my senior thesis at Parsons, and I wear it every winter. I was inspired by a "Mad Tea Party" that took on a darker side, and was also inspired by Victorian era mourning clothing. The jacket has alternation chevorn pieces of fox and rabbit, and comes to a point at the back hem. With a 3/4 sleeve, the jacket takes on a fresher and younger style that is definately not your mother's fur jacket. Styled by Adrianna Beer, who also created the custom Hadria necklace pictured.
Something Pink
Some of my favorite pieces in my closet are shoes. I. am. obsessed. I bought these lipstick- pink Louboutins a few years back, yet they still look fresh and on trend. I liked the idea of a pop of color with my usual all black, because lets be honest, every girl likes a hint of that Barbie pink.
Studio Beat
Since NYC has decided to jump back into a cold spell, I thought it would be fun to do a studio shoot with my favorite photographer, Robert Clyde Grima. My go to "uniform" typically involves a black jean or leather legging, with a comfy T-shirt and fun jacket, so I decided to just wear what I love. My jacket is extra special for me because I bought it while interning at Oscar de la Renta, and it is the perfect piece to dress down with some leather and boots, or dress up for an uptown girl moment.
Bridal Tones
While working on my blog today, and joining Bloglovin, I was looking through some of my past work and thinking about my design future. Going to School at Parsons School of Design was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life thus far, but also the most rewarding. I met life long friends that are all working throught the industry, and my friend Tara LaTour was simply the most amazing bridal designer I have seen. I was fortunate enough to see her create her thesis (she sewed all the dresses above by hand... herself!) and continue on to use her thesis as her first namesake collection which I modeled for. What makes Tara unique is her use of color and fabrics which you don't usually see in bridal. She is definately one to watch and I can't wait to see how her company grows.
